If it were up to me, every student at my high school would have to complete this book with their English teachers. I ordered this book because many of the students at my school read below grade level and need help with organizational and testing skills; it is much better than the other book I purchased. Study Strategies Plus includes help with reading comprehension skills; one of which is summarization. Many students in grades 1-12 as well as adults tend to retell entire stories rather than summarize them in a few statements. If utilized effectively, Study Strategies Plus is a good supplemental resource that can make a difference in students' lives. When you can read, you can do anything.

I received this book as a gift and was really skeptical that it could benefit me so I put it off for a while. I picked it up like 2 weeks later and I was shocked. I never write reviews but this book makes me look at studying differently. I feel like I absorb so much more about what I was trying to learn b4. I was never taught how to "study" but there are methods that make it easier to understand and remember what you read and help you organize your studying habits. I would highly recommend.
This book is a must-read for students and career-minded individuals who want to sharpen key skills necessary for success.
