It's old but there is still some useful info in there.
This is an old book (1983) but there has been nothing like it published since then. Some info may be outdated so beware but I can recommend it. It was available used for just under four bucks and 3.99 shipping and I consider it well worth the cost.

soooo many rivers, sooo little time
This "Floater's Guide" has very useful and detailed information that is still not available in ANY other source about Colorado Rivers. That it is still in print after 30+ years speaks for itself. If you truly love white water in Colorado it will add a whole new dimension to your enjoyment of the rivers.
Smack my hands for not noting that the publication date on this book is 1983! 20 years can make a huge impact on the put in and take out points of a river, and even on the river itself. Drat. It has some handy maps, and the descriptions are nice, but I wish there were a better, current resource out there.
