An amazing book to help young children understand peanut allergies and how it can affect those that have them. Not only is it perfect for them to read, but it's also a coloring book for them! Being surrounded by family and friends with peanut allergies I've seen them deal with some scary reactions. It would have been nice when I was younger to have a book like this to help me understand allergies better. This is a must for all parents and elementary schools to have!

This cute children’s book pairs the seriousness of food allergies along side a simple plan of action you can practice right at home! Recommended not only for if your child experiences symptoms of food allergies but also a great way to educate your children about others they may come in contact with that experience allergic reactions and how to respond appropriately. Book has no colored pictures. Illustrations are very poor quality! Very dissatisfied!
A child in my daughters class room was allergic to nuts. This was a great way to explain why they implemented rules regarding her safety. I didn’t know how to explain to her in a way she would understand. This book did the parenting lesson for me. What I really enjoyed was getting two for one!! The pictures were left in black and white creating a coloring book as well. This is the cutest educational book and was well worth it!! Shipped fast!!
Before buying this book I was skeptical as to how much it would really help me explain to my son the reasons why allergies are so serious. He was recently diagnosed with treenut allergies and he never truly grasped the dangers of allergies. After this book he not only understands but feel like he can relate to Ellie! He asked to bring the book to school for show and tell and even wants to buy a copy for his cousin who has allergies too! It's his favorite bed time story and he loves to color in the pictures! Amazingly simple for kids his age to understand and even contains some information for new allergy parents too! Amazing book I hope there is more by this author soon!
Got this the other day....An absolutely cute book and very informative about peanut allergy. My son has a peanut allergy and he really loves this book, It really helped him wrap his mind around his allergy! Who knew learning about allergies could be so cute!
