This is absolutely one of my daughters favorite books. The way that it is written, the pictures, the actual substance and messages in this book are beautiful. I love to read this book dramatically which just adds another layer. We decided to gift this to 3 of her friends for their birthdays! Hope they enjoy it as much. if you are looking for a gender neutral book that has a great message and is filled with beautiful illustrations and a wonderful message, this book is for you. I will have to look for Malcom's other works! cheers
The Magician’s Hat is about dreaming big and using books to help children achieve their dreams. The author’s personal story is an inspirational one as well. He genuinely cares about getting books in children’s hands. The illustrations are also beautiful. I loved the book so much that I asked my library to get it.
If you haven't seen the CBS Sunday Morning stories (there are 2) about Malcom Mitchell (the author) stop, Google, and watch them right now. That is why I purchased this book and it is a book I include with all birthday gifts for my 6 yo's friends. I'm not a big fan of football but I am a forever cheerleader for MM.Bonus: the story is cute.
Heard about the authors story, bought the book and my kids just absolutely loved it, as did I. Please keep writing kids books Malcolm! Story is wonderful. Illustrations wonderful. Thank you, great book for all ages
Bought this book to have at my home for seven year old granddaughter. I thought it was well written and should engage her with it's message. She loves reading right now and I hope she continues to for a lifetime.
This book is Amazing! I read to my children every night before bed and they just LOVE this book, just as I do. I was blown away when I found out that Malcolm Mitchell wrote a book! We’re Georgia Bulldog fans so we love him and were happy to support, and he definitely didn’t disappoint! We look forward to more books from the author, but until then we’ll enjoy this amazing and inspiring book about reading being so powerful and following your dreams! â¤ï¸
