absolute must have for the fisherman who enjoys remote locations. invaluable part of my research before heading to a new area, maps included are fantastic and cover alot of creeks & small lakes that aren't specifically addressed with a description

I bought this book on Amazon for my father, who had been an avid fisherman until the last couple of years. Seems he had slowed down a little so I gave him Colorado Fishing Guide to re-motivate, or inspire him to get back out there and find some new places to go. Well, Dad said this was an impressive gift... and it was just what he needed. I am pleased this helped motivate Dad to enjoy his favorite hobby again :-)Colorado Fishing Guide (by Outdoor Books & Maps) is a good value at $24.95. It packs in a lot of information, including what species can be found at each location (mostly lakes & streams) around Colorado. It also has maps and specifications about boating, camping, picnicking, public facilities, regulations, and contact information for each location (when available). With more than 450 pages, I would recommend this to anyone thinking about purchasing it.At least it put a smile on my Dad's face... and I know he has used it, which is great to see him happy!
I thought this was a good buy for the $$$ and got some real use out of it on my trip to Colorado. I would also recommend Flyfisher's Guide to Colorado by Marty Bartholomew. I thought it was better if you were going to buy just one.
